A New Year A New You

Between the pandemic, the restrictions for social interactions, and the complete upset to our daily routines, the new year can only promise new beginnings. More than ever many of us are looking at 2021 to regain a sense of self and balance in our lives. How many of us have made new years resolutions to lose weight, fit into that outfit from last summer, eat healthier, or do more with our lives only to slip up early on and just let the resolution go?  Everyone has done it, but this year let’s challenge ourselves to more than just a resolution.  You have heard the phrase ‘A New Year A New You!” but what does that even mean?

It has been said that it takes 21 days to form a habit. When we set our resolutions we often have an absolute mindset of “all or nothing” but really we should be more forgiving with ourselves as we work to those resolutions.  It’s not all or nothing when it comes to lifestyle changes, it takes time to form healthy habits and make changes that are sustainable and enriching in our lives. Once you have formed a habit, it becomes easier to make smart choices in foods and activities since it’s something you already have been doing. Deciding to take a 20 min walk every day, or doing 15 mins a very active dance or exercise will be easy to do if it’s a habit. Though sometimes we do need help to get on track and get these habits formed.

With Herbal Nutrition with Lisa, you can find coaching, guidance, support, and resources to help promote these positive lifestyle changes. Is weight loss on your mind but you struggle with snacking or overeating? Try this additive to your morning or afternoon protein shake to help reduce hunger but not over stimulate yourself. Looking to commit to working out and being more active but can’t seem to maintain the energy?  Give yourself a boost with the Total Control Supplements that will help boost your metabolism and allow you to start to form your daily habit of working out. A new year a new you isn’t just about weight loss or resolutions, but rather it’s a commitment to yourself to allow yourself room for error as you grow into a healthier you.
